HI! I’m Brittany!
Welcome to my internet home. Thanks for stopping by! Here is a little background info about me if you're interested.. When I was six years old, instead of wanting to become a doctor or a teacher, I wanted to be the person who came up with the names for crayon colors. My mom quickly discouraged me from going after this dream because unfortunately in her words, “there is no money in crayon naming…” Needless to say, that career path did not pan out. However, it playfully illustrates the fact that I have always been driven by creativity and color.
I am a passionate pursuer of fun, adventure, and anything thrilling. I like to reflect freedom, risk, humor and bravery in all of my work. After graduating from college with a degree in Organizational Management, I felt the serious lack of creative spice in my professional life. For this reason, I set out to become a self-taught designer. After a period of “dipping my toes” in the pools of graphic design, videography, and web design, I began working for a few non profit’s as a graphic designer. My career steadily grew from there. I have been working in graphic design and marketing for 5 + years and love getting my hands on whatever new projects I can! I enjoy leaving my signet of “crayon-naming” creativity on anything that comes my way. I hope to continue a long and winding design journey, while helping many clients find their brand identities along the way.
Pen & Pew is a prayer and devotional journal. The journal has 6 sections including the welcome section, about me section, journal section, appendix, prayer card section, and a “choose-your-own-cover” section.
The Nashgirl brand is a Nashville based food blog (Nashgirl Eats) and Med Spa (Nashgirl Skin). The focus of the re-brand was to give the Nashgirl brand a fun, feminine and approachable esthetic. Lauren, the wonderful woman behind the Nashgirl Brand is a fun, friendly, and so sweet. Creating a brand-look that is just an extension of her was a true honor! As a part of the entire re-brand process, I redesigned the nashgirlskin web site. The goal was to give it a fresh, approachable esthetic that correlates with the new branding guidelines.
